The location is excellent for those who want to be surrounded by countryside. The hotel's gardens offered us a perfect view to watch the stars, which is the best way to start a new year. The bedroom we stayed in was warm and cozy, and the staff helped us with anything we needed without hesitation.
The price we paid did not reflect the quality of the breakfast. The options were minimal and not very appetizing.

This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a charming village. The owner, Ton, goes above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming stay. I loved the unique touch of having a little stage in the property, where Ton occasionally puts on small performances. It adds such character to the place. The continental breakfast served in the garden was a delightful experience, especially with the picturesque view of the wide wheat field.
No negatives.

We had an amazing time staying in a cozy B&B nestled in the Dutch countryside. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful views while sipping our tea in either Ton's lounge or in the garden. During the day, we explored the nearby national park, and in the evenings we visited some nearby towns for dinner. the breakfast was fantastic, and we loved the unique interior design of the B&B, inspired by Ton's background in theater.
There were some issues with the mosquito netting, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay surrounded by nature. The hotel facilities were great with a garden overlooking a wide wheat field. It was easy to explore the Lauwersmeer national park by bike. The breakfast was lavish and delicious. Ton, the host, was very kind and knowledgeable. We enjoyed listening to his stories in his lounge or in the garden.
Nothing, no complaints at all.
